Hey, I’m Megan.

People come to therapy for all sorts of reasons. Often it’s to understand themselves better, build skills needed to cope with their day to day, or process trauma and begin to heal. No matter what your reason is for coming to therapy, I start with a person-centered approach and focus on creating a safe space for you where all your parts are welcome.

You can expect identity-affirming and trauma-informed care with an open invitation to bring any topic to the session. Based on your strengths and what you’re working toward, I will integrate other therapeutic modalities to tailor your treatment to your unique needs.

Some modalities and techniques that I draw from are Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), parts work informed by Internal Family Systems (IFS), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills, and Somatic Experiencing approaches.

Outside of work, I am very involved in my special interest (music) and rotating hyperfixations (my love of baking cakes has somehow alchemized into gardening and flag football at the time of writing this). I also very much enjoy spending time with my cat, Fish, who may occasionally make a brief appearance.
